Maxime Arcand

As a child, I lived in Ivry-sur-le-Lac until the age of 14, after my parents moved to Chemin du Lac de la Grise. As an outdoor enthusiast, I spent my days exploring the forests, lakes, and natural beauty of Ivry with friends—many of whom still live here. These early experiences inspired me to one day own property in Ivry. That dream came true in 2015, when I built a home for my family on Chemin du Geai Bleu.

I wanted to raise our four children in this special place, where they are now creating their own memories. Before being elected, I worked in the municipality’s public works department for several years.

That experience gave me valuable insight into our infrastructure and inspired me to serve. Today, I’m proud to be on the municipal council, responsible for roads and public works. It’s a role I take seriously, working to ensure our roads and public spaces are well maintained. My family and I feel fortunate to live here and contribute to preserving Ivry’s beauty, infrastructure, and community spirit. With your support, I look forward to continuing to serve you.

Julie Wilkins

My name is Julie Wilkins, and for the past 25 years, I’ve been grateful to call Lake Manitou my home. With over 12 years of service to our municipality, I remain committed to building a strong, vibrant, and united community. With the support of Mayor Ibghy, I’m seeking re-election as Councillor for Seat #1 to continue this important work.

As a full-time resident, I understand both the opportunities and challenges we face. I’m dedicated to representing our shared interests with transparency, efficiency, and integrity. Our council has always welcomed open dialogue—encouraging residents, local businesses, and community groups to share their perspectives with us.

What do I bring to council?
I bring my voice, my experience, and a strong belief in fairness and communication. I work to build bridges between diverse groups and ensure every resident feels heard and valued.

Outside of council, I’m a full-time high school teacher and Head Teacher at Ste-Agathe Academy. My three children were raised here and participated in activities at the Lake Manitou Community Centre, which I had the pleasure of running for five years.

What I love most is seeing our lake through the seasons—from swimming in summer to snowshoeing in winter. Ivry is a place of incredible natural beauty and community spirit, and that’s what inspires me to keep serving.

Jean Pierre Charette

I first discovered Ivry as a young boy, visiting my Uncle Leo. I quickly fell in love with the lake—coming here to fish and swim, often riding my bicycle just to enjoy the natural beauty. Years later, I introduced my wife and kids to Ivry, and they fell in love with it just as I did. From that point on, the decision was easy: we had to make this paradise our home.

That deep connection is what drives my commitment to protect Ivry and preserve its unique character for future generations. I’ve proudly served as a municipal councillor for 12 years and have been president of the CCU for over a decade, helping residents bring their projects to life while respecting our community’s values and environment.

I’m also known as the guy with all the tools—always ready to lend a hand. My dedication to Ivry is constant. Whether it's providing support to the municipality or helping a neighbor, I’m available 24/7. I’ve never said no when it comes to serving our community.

David Lisbona

My name is David Lisbona, and I have been a proud member of Ivry for 29 years. Drawing on my experience as a tax attorney, entrepreneur, and investment advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, I am deeply committed to sound financial management and the careful stewardship of our municipality’s resources.

As a councillor, I focus on simplifying by-laws while balancing tradition and progress. Over twelve years—including the most productive four—I’ve worked to strengthen our community through multiple initiatives. I founded Parlons Ivry, a Facebook group promoting open, respectful dialogue among residents on and off Lac Manitou.

Beyond council, I remain active in the community. I started the Ciné-Parc Belle Neige movie night, raising thousands for groups  like Autisme Laurentides, L’Hôpital Laurentien, and Moisson Laurentides. In 2025, I was honoured with the RBC Global Citizen Award for my philanthropic efforts.

Experience matters. Leadership grows from listening, balance, and dedication. I would be honoured to continue serving this community we all cherish.

Gabriela Opas

Ivry-sur-le-Lac captured my heart years ago when I first discovered its beauty through the lens of my camera as a nature photographer. Since then, I have been deeply committed to protecting the wildlife, the forests, and the balance of all our precious lakes.

As a mother, I care deeply about the future of our community. I want Ivry to remain a safe, healthy, and vibrant place for our children to grow. I am proud to have worked closely and effectively with my fellow councillors and our mayor, Andre Ibghy, whose support I am honored to have, and I look forward to continuing this strong collaboration in a second term. During my mandate, I will continue to focus on preserving what makes Ivry unique, while ensuring thoughtful, sustainable decisions for our environment and our residents. Protecting our lakes. Building our future.

Robert Todd

As a long-time resident of Lac-de-la-Grise and business owner in Ivry-sur-le-Lac, I’m deeply invested in the future of our community. Alongside my wife of 32 years, Joywind, I’ve grown our business, Tribal Spirit, from grassroots beginnings into the largest employerin the municipality. We now support over 20 families — all right herein Ivry.

With the encouragement of Mayor André Ibghy, I’m proud to step forward as a candidate for the Ivry municipal council. I care deeply about our region’s natural beauty and have always supported sustainable practices.
